Seasonal Access

Direct beach access is available from May to October, depending on rainfall. The walk to the beach takes about 5 minutes through the grasslands and dunes.
Winter Conditions

A path remains open in the winter, but one section can become waterlogged. Waterproof boots are recommended for those comfortable crossing wet areas—especially for guests fishing or clamming.
Summer Beach Access Notes

Some guests may expect the beach to be closer. It typically takes 5-10 minutes to walk there, depending on where you are on the property. If you’d prefer a shorter walk, consider these alternatives:

-
Drive onto the beach at Grayland Beach OBA State Park, just 2 minutes north
-
Visit Grayland Beach State Park, only 1 minute south
-
These options provide easier access without the need for a longer walk.
